Workshop called ”Optics day” was held on 23 October 2018 in the seat of Meopta-optika,s.r.o. and it was attended not only by current COC members (Meopta-optika, s.r.o., Pramacom-HT, spol r. o. and University of Defense) but also by the representatives of Army, Police and the Prison Service of the Czech Republic. The morning part was focused on the lectures on: New trends in optical systems for the small arms and light weapons, Growth potential of optoelectronic systems of the Czech Army, and Future testing and service capabilities of the Czech Army for optoelectronic system which were presented by the representatives of Meopta, Pramacom and the University of Defense and it was followed by technical discussion. Afternoon program was focused on shooting in the site of the Military Technical Institute in Slavičín, Bzenec, there was practical presentation of optical devices designated for day and night shooting.
