Main Activities

The DOCTER OPTICS Group develops and manufactures precision optical components and systems made of glass and polymers in series production. We combine optical design, engineering, manufacturing and quality control, from prototypes to high-volume production. Our solutions are used in the automotive and defense industries, medical technology, analytics, biometrics, machine vision, laser technologies, the semiconductor industry, aviation and aerospace.

Services

We provide optical design, prototyping, tooling, CNC machining, grinding, polishing, forming, coating, waterjet cutting, precision laser cutting, measurement, testing, assembly and delivery of complete assemblies. We also offer subsurface laser engraving in glass, creating three-dimensional structures without affecting the surface.

We manufacture small and large production series, individual components, optical modules and complete subassemblies.

Research & Development

Our development activities focus on precision optics, freeform components, hybrid systems, laser micromachining and the creation of nanostructured surfaces to increase light transmission.
