On 26–27 November 2025, the Czech Optical Cluster held its regular member meeting in Bořetice, South Moravia. This year’s programme was rich in content and focused on defining the cluster’s strategic direction for the years ahead.

The first day featured the annual general meeting, during which key activities from the past period were presented, followed by an open discussion on priorities for 2026. A strategic workshop then took place, aimed at jointly shaping the main development directions of the cluster up to 2030. Members actively discussed sector needs, planned projects, and opportunities for deeper cooperation, providing valuable feedback that will help refine the updated strategy.

The evening continued informally with a wine tasting in a nearby wine cellar, offering space for networking and sharing experiences.

The second day was dedicated to a visit to Sonnentor, a company renowned for its innovative approach to management, social responsibility, and sustainability. The visit was highly inspiring and offered many ideas on how similar principles can be applied within the optical and photonics industry.

We thank all members for their active participation, open discussion, and contributions that help move the Czech Optical Cluster forward. We look forward to continued collaboration and to our meeting in 2026.
