We cordially invite you to the second Optical Coffee Chat, which will take place on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. via the MS Teams platform, with participation from the following presenters: Meopta s.r.o., HiLASE Centre, and the Czech Technical University in Prague.
The “coffee chat” format enables interactive and accessible discussion, even on technically demanding topics. The seminars focus on application areas with the potential for the use of optical technologies. Each seminar is professionally guaranteed by members of the Czech Optical Cluster with expertise in the given field. This time, we will focus on the topic of AI and optics.
This informal webinar will cover the following topics:
• AI in metrology (image processing, measured data processing)
• AI in the design of optical and related systems (optical design, computational models)
• AI and the facilitation of work activities (ChatGPT, programming, etc.)
• AI and corporate data security
• AI in science
The aim of the meeting is to share know-how, inspire participants, strengthen the community, and increase awareness of innovations in companies and research organizations.
