Scientists from the Joint Laboratory of Optics, a joint workplace of Palacký University in Olomouc and the Institute of Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, were the first in the world to experimentally confirm the connection between the uncertainty of a quantum state and quantum entanglement, which was theoretically predicted by physicists from Japan and Taiwan.

The result of their scientific work, which was published in the prestigious journal Springer Nature, opens up a completely new perspective on the previously unknown connections of how nature works at the quantum level.
