When Jan Vymazal took over the management of Meopta in Přerov last winter, he knew that there would be a lot of work. And that was more than confirmed. He spent the first six months almost exclusively on interviews, replaced most of the top team, and together they threw themselves into a radical transformation of the company.

In an interview with FORBES, Jan Vymazal outlines the strategy for the coming years and describes how massively the Carlyle investment fund is investing in Meopta. The total amount is already 1.7 billion crowns, with another 700 million crowns expected for this year and next year. Together they are working on the transformation of the company. In the outlook for 2030, they want to increase sales to 7 to 7.5 billion crowns.
